Community has always been at the heart of what I do, and one of my proudest achievements has been helping raise over £2,200 for the Angharad Children's Ward at Bronglais Hospital.
The original target was £400. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the local community, we smashed that goal and raised more than five times the amount.
To help drive donations, a fundraising raffle was organised with prizes kindly donated by local businesses. I also ran raffles in the chair and donated a portion of my own income from haircuts throughout the campaign.
As the total grew, so did the challenges. My beard was dyed blue, my legs were waxed and I even spent a day cutting hair dressed as a nun – all in the name of raising money for a fantastic cause.
The fundraiser ended with the raffle of a signed LA Galaxy shirt, generously donated by the club's first-team squad.
More importantly, it showed what can happen when a community comes together.
Every donation, raffle ticket, share and word of support helped make a real difference.
This fundraiser is a reminder of what The Celtic Barber stands for. Not just business, but community, connection and giving something back.

Community has always been at the heart of The Celtic Barber, and I believe a successful business should be measured by more than just what it earns, but also by what it contributes.
When the Celtic Barber apparel range is fully launched, my intention is to reinvest 10% of apparel sales into local causes, community projects and fundraising initiatives.
This is a commitment I intend to honour as the brand grows. The support I have received from the local community has played a huge part in my journey, and I want that support to be returned wherever possible.
The goal is simple: use the growth of The Celtic Barber to create a positive impact and help make a difference within the community that helped build it.
Together, we can build something bigger than a business.
